My Perfect Family

What would it be like to be the perfect family? What is a perfect family? A perfect family in everyone's eyes would be different. I would love to say I have the perfect family but I think being imperfect molds us and shapes us to want to be better, not only for ourselves but hopefully for the Lord. I enjoy having the house clean and dinner on the table when my husband gets home. I love making desserts that the whole family enjoys. But more importantly I strive not only to be a wonderful wife and mother but to be an example for others that they might see a difference and see Christ shining through me in all that I say and do. It's hard. It's not easy and I am always praying to God for strength. I love my husband with all my heart and I pray our marriage continues to strengthen. He is my best friend and I can't imagine life without him. My two beautiful girls are such blessings. My oldest can be a challenge in one test after another. Our youngest is just learning. But our consistency in how we are raising them brings us a smile when we see how loving and precious they are. So my prayer this week is strength; strength to deal with my children in raising them in a Godly way.
