My dear little children,

Your Dad shared this song with me last night. I loved its words. I loved watching the elderly couples dancing. I loved seeing their sparkle eyes gaze upon each other like nothing else mattered. This is how I feel your dad and I will be and even are. We got married young. We had lots of people think age mattered. We hadn't lived enough. We knew though that God had brought us together. Whats awesome is we both share the excitement and joy of learning God's word more and more each day. This has brought an even deeper and stronger desire in our marriage then imagined.

"Oh lets go dancing in the minefields and sailing in the storms, oh this is harder than we dreamed but I believe that's what the promise is for, thats what the promise is for." God's promise can't be broken. He may take you through minefields in life. He may take you through heavy storms, but His promise is He will be by your side forever. He will deliver you home one day to then be safe in His arms for eternity.

"for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable." Romans 11:29

What an incredible explicit statement about one of God's promises. My little ones our prayers aren't that you never have to go through hardship. We live in a sinful world. Sadly we too our sinners. Our prayer however, is that when you encounter hardships you remember God's promise. You remember that nothing you can every do or nothing in this world can ever break that promise.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,<sup class="footnote" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em;" value="[k]">[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

We aren't perfect. We will make mistakes. But truly understanding what Faith is in our Savior Jesus Christ because your Faith will never be lost. Your desire to serve your Savior will grow. Your dad and I pray that our marriage can give you a glimpse of what we desire for you. If it's in God's plan for marriage to be apart of your future I hope we can set an example of Christ shinning through us. God has given me a peace to lean on Him through all things. Our desire is to share our excitement, our joy, and most importantly share to you our step of Faith we have taken.
