Sunrise Sunday!

"

So do not fear,

for I am with you;

   do not be dismayed,

for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

   I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 40:10

It's amazing to believe how surreal Friday was. Just a week before the thought of seeing my sister back in her house, the boys running around and a dog annoying the cats was just a distance thought. To see her home, slowly but surely walking around was just amazing.

Life for Dennis, myself and the kids this past week slowly started to have somewhat of a usual routine. Last Sunday Dennis and I finished gutting our bedroom and what a wonderful feeling that is. Closets clean, junk removed and a piece of carpet was laid under our bed so now we don't step out straight onto the cold wood floor. Rest of the week my mornings focused on school for Brooklyn. We worked on reading which she is just doing awesome in. She doesn't care much for her focused reading book so I'm planning on doing some research and having a better plan for next year. We also have been working on her numbers and counting by 5's and 10's and months, states, continents etc.

Dennis is working on a curriculum for next year which I'm hoping will be mostly laid out before the June Home School Conference. I have been really excited about piecing the kids schoolwork together. I recently read this book called, "100 top picks for Homeschool Curriculum." by: Cathy Duffy. I will have to blog about it another time, but she had some awesome ideas and really laid out Dennis and my teaching style and gave great suggestions on all sorts of different school material out there.

Earlier this week I posted pictures from the following week. I didn't get a chance to post our Saturday trip to the Portland Children's Museum so I thought this post would be great to add them on. I feel the kids had fun getting away from the hospital and being able to be kids and have fun while seeing and learning new things.

Picture is sorta small but it makes me laugh ever time. Josiah just was way to perfect for his superhero dude! We didn't realize it at first but Eli and Brooklyn had put their heads in the wrong one. Pretty funny though!!!

The museum had a room full of chopped up tires. What an awesome idea. I would love to be able to do this in our basement someday when we build. What a fun thing for kids to get to do. Beckham just loved being able to dig around. I think it was one of his favorite rooms.

Vehicle, theater, construction and clay rooms were all other favorites for the kids.

What a fun day we all had or well...the kids had lots of fun and us adults enjoyed there smiles and laughter but were ready for bed that night!

Later this past week, Beckham had decided that the wipe case no longer needs wipes in the box but outside the box.

Craft time is a must with Brooklyn and I have felt bad because lately we have not gotten in as many crafts as I'm sure she wants. But she always loves to even just draw or make a book so thats nice when I don't have a big project planned. We decide to play with clay since she loved it up at the Children's Museum. I didn't get much of a change to really get creative with Brooklyn but she had fun just coming up with her own little things.

The kids went with us to youth on Wednesday. Usually my dad watches the girls while we still take Beckham with us but both my parents were up with my sister. Bailey found the white board and drew a picture. I was super impressed even if it looks like the person is drooling. :)

This was a week in the Kramer family. Busy, productive, and God filled. Thank you for stopping by and checking out our Sunrise Sunday post.

Have a wonderful week!!!
