Chapter Seven
"Love must
Include God"
God is so amazing. With out Him I believe a relationship just isn't 100% complete. I don't know how I could live without God. He is the foundation in which to build a healthy relationship on. Through good and bad times I always know He is right there for me. The important thing in a relationship is that both partners know that no matter what happens in life God will always be by your side. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5
"...for he Himself has said, 'I will never desert, nor will I ever forsake you.'"
Both people must put God first in their life and their spouse second. I believe that God will bless that.
Our world today can make it so easy to get wrapped up in worldly things. I think that's why it has become easier and easier to get caught in it. For example, marriage I believe isn't taken as serious as it should be. Divorce has become so easy that now they can even be completed through the internet.
Many people look at marriage as bondage as if you're not a free person anymore. In some way that's very true, but it should be happy and joyful bondage. One that you look back and will never regret. Love between you and the other should be growing all the time. I'm constantly wondering how I could love someone any more then I love them now. Although, it continues to happen. You may not notice love at times, but when it hits, "Wow," it's amazing. I know, and you may ask how? but I would have to respond I just do. One day, when I am old and gray, I'm going to look back at my wedding day, and think I loved him more then ever that day. Then, I'm going to look around me and then look at him with a big smile knowing I love him even more now then that very day.
