Do Everything!
"You're picking up toys on the living room floor
for the 15th time today
Matching up socks and sweeping up lost
Cheerios that got away
You put a baby on your hip and color on your lips
and head out the door
And while I may not know you I bet I know you
Wonder sometimes does it matter at all
We'll let me remind you it all matters just as long as you
Do everything you do for the glory of the One who made you
Cause He made you to do
Every little thing that you do to bring a smile to His face
And tell the story of grace
With every move that you make
And every little thing you do..."
Satan loves to try to get inside our minds and find a weakness that each and everyone of us Christians have and tug it. This song that Steven Curtis Chapman wrote really touched me. It reminds me that in EVERYTHING that I do even down to picking up toys after my kids for the 15th time in one day to do it for the glory of the One who made me.
Being a mom too me is by far the toughest job I have ever had. Although, it's one of the most satisfying jobs I have. God has molded me into a woman I would have never imagined when I was younger. A woman who can't imagine being done having kids. A woman that at times needs to hear silence, but deep down enjoys the chatter or her children. A woman that wants nothing more than to set an example of a godly wife, mother, and friend for her kids.
Although Satan knows my weaknesses and tries to tug at me, I have my feet on a Solid Rock! Jesus Christ! He will over power and set me free.
Next time when you feel like life is dragging you down. When you feel you have no purpose or why does God have you where He has you! Remember God made you to do what you do and do EVERYTHING all for the GLORY of the LORD!!!
