Brooklyn 7
I love the young lady our Brooklyn is becoming. Her heart is full of compassion, and love. She is an amazing great big sister who fills the role wonderfully. She carries her baby sister around like a mother, and occasionally her brother as well. We tell her God chose her to be the big sister and what an incredible and outstanding job she is doing.
When I carried her inside me we were told she would be abnormal with the extra brain fluid she was producing. We hadn't met her yet but we were so in love with her. If this was the road God had chosen for us we were going to embrace it with our whole heart knowing that it wasn't going to be easy, but being reminded through God's word brings such comfort.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who
have been called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28
Prayer, and Peace we saw God work a miracle in our little girl. God had us walk that road of uncertainty that brought us closer to Him. We knew in our hearts God was in control. We loved our girl and her Creator no matter the outcome. Our Savior gives to us and Our Savior takes away from us. We are praying that it's in God's will to see Brooklyn and each of our children grow up and grow old. Although, more then anything we pray that we can pour out God's truths to our children for how every long He gives us here on earth.
Brooklyn, we are seeing your love for the Lord deepen each day. What a joy thats beyond explaing that your father and I feel. To hear you ask bible question like, "Well....who created God?" or you explaining to your sister or brother a bible story you heard. Beyond your beauty you are such a joy to be around. We love you so very much and what an incredible blessing it is to be your parents. As parents we pray that more then teaching you about life, we can teach you about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's truths. How our hearts are driven by God's grace. Happy 7th birthday to you our little miracle girl! Love you up to heaven and back and all around the world.
Love,
Daddy & Mommy
