Let Love Reign

1 Corinthians: 1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, I gain nothing.

The love of God.....

.... looks past the insults and the ignorance.
.....seeks the truth at all costs.
.....pursues the object of its affection like a wild fire consuming everything in its path.
.....is inescapable and irresistable.
.....makes the meaningless meaningful.
.....makes the undesireable into something to be desired.
.....provides comfort to the lonely.
.....provides understanding to the misunderstood.
.....is granted at no cost.
.....cannot be subdued.
.....controls thoughtless words.
.....lends an ear to those without a voice.
.....permeates the hardened heart.
.....feeds the hungry.
.....transforms lives.
.....raises children to be a blessing to others.
.....serves others.
.....diverts my paths.
.....shelters the homeless.
.....waits patiently.
......is kind in speech to others.
......encourages others.
......seeks to glorify God is all its purposes.
......does not insist on its own way.
......is not fickle.
......never ends.

Lord, guide my actions today in your love.
