Inexpressible Joy!

"and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls." 1 Peter 1:8-9

My mind has been consumed with the word Joy lately. How to live my life in all that I do with a pure Joy for my Savior Jesus Christ.
This verse is exactly how I feel. Although, I have never seen Him I have such a joy to share Him with others. To live my life completely for Him. His salvation for me has caused me to have a joy that's unexplainable. Why would I be joyful cleaning up messes after my kids? Why be joyful in dishes or housework? why continue to joyfully do for others, expecting no return? Simple.....because of God's Grace He poured out to me. Whom He called me too and won't let me go. I don't have perfect joy. I long for the day when my joy is heavenly perfected.
When you see that nothing you have done or did brought Salvation except for God bringing it to you the world has suddenly changed. It's not about me, or about you. We weren't created for God to work around us and what we will think up or do, but rather what God is doing around us all for His Glory.
Oh what a joy I have. What a peace I have. To see that sin only brings us to Christ. Seeing that we need Him through our failures and imperfection. God's glory shines even more. He created us exactly the way we are. He made no mistakes! From the beginning of time He designed all and works outside our time and space. He is the Creator I serve.
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10
