Sadness!

My heart is heavy with sadness, but joy taketh over knowing I belong forever to my Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. He allows trials, and while in them can be burdensome. But to know God's hand is always there. His hand is leading us through. His hand NEVER will let go.

What saddens me right now is the evil one raising up those under a leadership that God has chosen. Although, I find joy knowing that the evil one WILL not prevail. It is not easy though. It's not easy seeing or hearing Satan talk. To see the deception of Satan at work. It's harder too when I see people not seeking the truth but wanting to cause division. Turning to gossip when unsure or shaken from their comfort of what they want truth to be. Scripture isn't always comforting. Romans chapter 8 and 9 are one of my favorite passages right now. What's awesome is when you read scripture for the truth you do find comfort in it.   My prayer and heart goes out to this leadership of men. My prayers go out that through this all, strength and joy prevail and I know it WILL prevail. God has a purpose and the trials that we go through can be difficult, but with true faith our Father will hold our hand and guild us threw the flood and onto dry ground once again. We as Christians seeing this truth needs to also be bold in our faith. Stand up for what is truth. Can one person make a difference? YES! why not it be us!

Romans 8:35-39

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

 As it is written:

   “For your sake we face death all day long;

   we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,

 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
