Memory Monday!
God's arms have been embracing my whole family this past week tighter than ever. What a week of being reminded of God's Sovereignty. His plan isn't always our plans but my family hangs on to His truth in scripture and by our faith only Him do we make it through.
This past week my sister experienced bringing two beautiful babies into this world for another couple. Something that so many of us don't have the courage and strength to do. God planned for her to do this and softened not only her heart but her husbands as well. God also planned for my sister to have an unexpected event following the births that would leave her knowing she would never be able to give birth again. This can be seen as a tragedy to the outside world. Questions of why would they do this knowing this could have been and now was a reality? Even with the strong faith we still ask the question of why God sent her through that. What I think is so encouraging though is to know not only our family but I know my sister as well that God blessed her and her husband with two beautiful boys and that this is what He planned for them. She or her husband didn't make a bad choice. God already choose for them and what a peace this is to know that it's all in His will.
This week has really been a testimony of all of our faith! Our faith was tested but our faith stood strong. Our foundation is firm on our Creator. He created everything!!! He is our Sovereign Lord!!!
My sister's boys and dog stayed with us for the whole week! The noise level increased! the laundry increased! the food consumption increased! but I enjoyed having the boys spend time with us. We loved welcoming them into our family for the whole week. They were a blessing to have. The kids all played extremely well together. I didn't get as many pictures as I thought. Guess that's just how it is sometimes.
Sol our dog I really think took it the hardest! I'm not sure he saw the positives out way any negatives. My only negative was...wish Eugene was a little closer! Sol I think didn't like sharing food scrapes with Milo but that's life and anyway he could stand to loose a few pounds. :)
Beckham just being his cute little self with a side of orange on his cheek!
To finish my week and start my weekend I had a planned trip to travel with the youth group girls up to Portland for the Revolve Tour! What a great event for teen girls. We had great music by Brit Nicole, Group 1 Crew and always a favorite with teen girls Hawk Nelson. We had great guess speakers like Jenna Lucado Bishop (daughter of Max Lucado). Kathryn McCormick (So you think you can dance?) and teen girls favorite, Chad Eastham! There were also great skits performed and a few other small speakers! We stayed in a great hotel and had some wonderful "Pillow Talk!" ;)
Dennis went to our church on Friday night and had an all nighter with the guys. He stayed up till about 7:30 am the next morning. We were both excited though to see each other again on Saturday night. Since being married for over 8 years now can you believe we have only had about 3 nights apart!
What a blessed week!
Happy Memory Monday from the Kramer Home!!!
