Seeds!

I'm reminded of how Satan can weasel his way into removing focus off the Creator and onto Worldly things.

Having a school age kid amazes me at how many reactions we receive regarding our decision on HomeSchooling. I remind myself that no matter where you place your kid whether Homeschool, Public or Private as Christians we have no obligation to the world. Dennis and I are born again believers who desire to server our Savior and Creator.  When our heads hits our pillows at night have we planted seed of Truth and Light? Have we weeded? Have we watered? This is the desire we have. Our strong desire to guide our children in His Truths. Our hearts can't get enough of knowing what our Savior did for us. So for those who doubt us, for those who judge us, it saddens my heart. As believers God has called us all in different ways. We need to remember to encourage other believers.

The past two years God has just been really revealing to us His plan for our lives. To be not of this world, but to be lights in this world is beyond amazing. To serve an almighty powerful God I just can't wrap my mind around His Omniscient Glory. Taking our little seeds and openly sharing with them and filling our home with His Word. Surrounding them with Truths. Building a foundation! Living off of His Word and not ours. What a difference and what an excitement we have as each continue to grow.

"Where, O death, is your victory,

Where, O death, is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:55-58
