Sunrise Sunday!!!

The past few weeks have been some of the hardest my family has ever gone through. We are starting to get slightly back into a normal routine, however, "normal" won't ever be the normal it use to be. God though is bigger then ever for my family. We know He has always been and is the ultimate, Sovereign, Omnipotent, and Omniscient God who will be bringing all of His children home to Him someday. I pray I am a child of His who will serve Him boldly like my Uncle. Through this sadness and hard time I pray I will rejoice in the eternal reunion I will get with not only him, but any born again love one that is separated from my life during my time here on earth.

Friday Dennis and I took the kids to Pizza Hut for family pizza night and then a trip to Target. The kids were super excited because we let them each pick out something small to bring home. Beckham's wasn't quiet small since he ended up with a shot gun nerf gun, but he LOVES it. Brooklyn picked out  Leonardo who is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figure. The kids are really into the TMNT right now. As a kid I would play with my friends huge collection of TMNT's but I never had seen an episode. I grew up with maybe 3 channels depending on what the antenna would pick up for the day. Our kids are growing up cable free, so movies are the only thing we get in the house. Fun to pull out old shows from our childhood for them to enjoy. Bailey had birthday money so with that and a little extra she got a couple DS games, and well....Brinley.....she got the enjoyment of riding in a shopping cart and throwing out what I was putting in. :) You must take advantage of their age because someday very soon she won't want to miss out on getting a toy at the store.

Saturday we enjoyed spending it watching my nephews first soccer tournament. We missed Eli's goal in one of the early games but got to enjoy a few early afternoon games. After that we traveled over to corvallis to look at 3 different properties with my parents. We had looked at each before but wanted to walk around a little more on each of them and see really what they might have to offer. We are really starting to search from property and hopefully this year might just be buying us some land. :) Barn house is becoming more of a reality then a distance vision. We have full confidence in God though that He has the right property picked out and it is all in His timing. We really love one piece in particular, however a few things are in the way from us being able to just make an offer and it become ours. We know if it's meant to be God will work out all the details. This gives me such peace that we aren't missing out on something or missing out on God's will. God is leading us and directing us just how He wants. We don't see down the full path but God does and God works on His timeline and not ours. I am excited to see what He has picked out for us and leads us too.

May your Memorial weekend be blessed. Praying for those who serve and served our Nation and for families who lost love ones while serving.

This boy has grass allergies and several times I saw him with his head on or near the grass. Silly boy!!!!
