Eight!!!!!
Our Beautiful Sweet Hearted daughter is Eight today!!!! Wow we have an eight year old. :) She has been blessed as being our first born. I LOVE to tell each of the kids that God specifically has placed each of them in our family in the order they were born for His great purpose. Our God of order and not chaos designed everything perfectly for His beginning and eternal perfect picture.
Brooklyn continues to amaze us with not only her sweet heart toward her siblings, but her questions and love for learning. I love her deep questions about God and His Creation. Wow!!! God chose Dennis and I as her parents and I am forever grateful for that privilege. Something I feel so unworthy, but constantly praying that the Lord gives us strength and endurance to teach our kids truly about God's World and His Word.
From the beginning development inside me when we found out we were having a child God was showing us more and more to rely on Him. Doctors told us our first born would be abnormal and yup she is abnormal. As we are raising her in the world but not of this world she will be abnormal. A miracle happened in her brain before she was born, bringing her into this world a healthy, beautiful baby girl.
She LOVES to draw, do crafts, bake brownies, and cookies or make any dessert. She asks us all the time to make sure once Brinley is asleep to lay her next to her so they can sleep together (along with her other 2 siblings who are already all in the same bed) ;) She has done really well this year with her sensory issues and I am sooooo thankful and pray she has finally overcome the irritations of certain clothing etc that would lead to melt downs. She is so bright and smart and just loves her family and friends. She enters a room and instantly begins to make friends. I love that God has placed on our hearts to homeschool. We take it a year at a time and don't know what the Lord has planned for our future but am thankful for this opportunity now and spending these extra moments with my kids.
Happy Eighth birthday beautiful Brooklyn. We love you so much and are so thankful to be your parents. May eight be an amazing year for you. LOVE YA!!!!!
